When it comes to audio, not everyone wants to cut about with a huge pair of over-ear headphones. They can be heavy, awkward to store, and have an annoying tendency to fly off.

That last one is a particularly big deal for the exercise enthusiasts among you. This is where the best earphones under $100 come in.

Earphones solve all of the above issues, as they are small in size and seal into the ears. This means that many people have both. So let’s find the best earphones under $100 so you can improve your mobile listening experience.

First up we’ve got an entry on the current king of cables, Anker. Ironically, these are TWS (True wireless earbuds). For the price, they are fantastic too.

You might be familiar with Anker for their hubs, cables, and adaptors. Happily, they’ve carried on their reputation for quality over to the audio space with the Soundcor P3 earphone.

In terms of performance, the P3s do very well, with the best total battery life of everything on this page at 35 hours, meaning you could do almost a full working week without plugging the case in.

Impressive battery life aside, we also get IPX5 resistance rating, so as long as you don’t go scuba diving with these, they’ll last the long haul.

We also appreciate the AirPods-esque design with the longer ‘stems’ for lack of a better word. The increased size allows for more tech to be jammed in there, and doesn’t result in any noticeable weight increase.

Ah yes, Beats. Despite Beats’ reputation for providing mediocre headphones, their earphones are generally regarded well.

This makes the <$100 Beats studio buds a great choice as even with Beats’ addiction to bass, the tiny drivers found in earphones can only produce so much bass anyway.

This means the bass is inherently tamed, so with the Studio buds, we get a fairly balanced soundscape. Of course, you won’t get anything world-changing for less than $100, but you can still get something pretty good.

Additionally, though less importantly, these are our favorite-looking earphones on this list, with a nice curved/faced-off appearance that we love. They also have an effortless setup process and sort of just magically connect to your device.

These aren’t TWS (true wireless), but they still qualify for this list as they cost around $40 and can often be found for half of that.

The connecter cable might not make for quite as elegant of an overall package, but there is utility here as the cable makes it far more difficult to lose, and you can simply leave them around your neck when not in use, instead of fumbling them back into the charging case.

Of course, this convenience is traded for another as these don’t come with the charging case we’ve come to expect with wireless earphones.

This means you’ll have to plug them in manually every time you want to charge like a CAVEMAN. Jokes aside these sound great and definitely deserve their place as some of the best earphones under $100.

They’re comfortable and convenient, and we hear that they have a more stable connection than some of the smaller earbuds.

Despite the excessive sponsorship, the Raycons are worthwhile as they have great battery life, some of the broadest fitment options we’ve seen in this product category.

Additionally, they come in a wide variety of colors, which is an infuriatingly rare quality when it comes to product design these days.

Other than the aesthetic quality of the Raycon, the sound is pretty good too. It won’t knock the perpetual socks, but for far less than $100, it’s hard to argue with them as a value proposition.
